Jerry's Story

If you are reading this story or looking at the picture and you don?t know me, you should know that I didn?t always look like I do now. This is the real me, but at one point of my life, a few years ago, I got up to 220 pounds ? and was wearing a size 40 pants.

I woke up one morning, and realized that I just didn?t feel good. I couldn?t breath very well and was always short of breath from just moving around. Even worse than that, I was always sad, depressed....it was like seeing everything through a black cloud.

When I was younger ?I had always been active, a fighter, in good shape, no fat... and now, well, I couldn?t walk across the room to the wall. Basically that was it for me. I knew something had to change.

Today, everything is changed for the better. I?ve gone from a size 40 to a size 33 in jeans. I?m 45 years old ? not young any more, but now at age 45 I play 45 minuts of nonstop soccer... I can run 10 miles now ? you?re never too old to start. If I can do it, anybody can.

I am blessed with a wife that has always been fit, she drives with me, and she will tell you that today, I?m the happiest I?ve ever been. When you feel good, you really want to live again, versus just getting by from day to day. Your happiness comes back ? you enjoy everything again in a whole new way.
